r168In August 1981, over 2,000 young Irish people went on pilgrimage to Rome to say “thanks” to Pope John Paul II for his Irish visit, and in particular, for his Mass in Galway with the youth of Ireland. This film recalls the highlights of that pilgrimage and the joy and excitement of two meetings with the Pope in Castel Gandolfo, when he spoke, not just to the young pilgrims, but through them to all the youth of lreland.
