About Radharc

Radharc was the name given to a popular documentary film programme which ran for many years on Irish Television. In the early years the programmes were directed by a group of Dublin priests and in time was extended to include a number of lay people as well.

The subjects covered were a mixture of religious, political and social issues of the day coupled with a number of programmes of historical and cultural interest. The series ran for a period of 35 years from 1961 to 1996.
